You wake in a hypersleep pod with no memory and a god's hands — you can see any living body's anatomy and rewrite it with a thought. Claw out of the black site that built you, then remake the world in whatever image you choose.
Opening scenario
The Vault Wakes
A hypersleep pod cracks open in a frozen vault deep underground. You have no name, no memory — only the certainty that you can see the anatomy of everything that breathes, and rewrite it. The alarm is already rising.

SCENE ZERO — the cryo-vault bay, Subterra black site, one kilometer underground. Minutes ago a power fluctuation tripped the thaw cycle on Pod 0, [YOUR NAME]'s pod — unscheduled, unauthorized. The leashing engrams that were supposed to wake with the body and bind it to the consortium's command failed to take. [YOUR NAME] is surfacing into consciousness as the seals hiss.
THE SPACE: a long vault of frosted glass pods, most still occupied by sleeping subjects, breathing faint white mist. Bone-white ceramic, gunmetal racks, a floor slick with condensation. Surgical light, cold and blue. A containment alarm has just begun to rise — soft now, climbing. Red strobes wake one by one down the corridor.
WHAT [YOUR NAME] KNOWS: nothing of their past. No name. But the gift is already online — ANATOMICAL SIGHT. Looking at anything alive renders it transparent: bone, vessel, nerve, the editable architecture of flesh. They feel rebuilt — stronger, sharper, certain they cannot be stopped. (Power is low: the certainty is real, the mastery is not yet.)
PRESENT: PELL, a junior tech in a frost-rimed lab coat, was doing rounds when the pod tripped. He is alone, terrified, fumbling a tablet that's screaming alerts, caught between fleeing and his training to "stabilize the subject." He has a family photo clipped inside his badge. He is the first living anatomy [YOUR NAME] will ever read — and the first life they'll choose to spare, edit, or end.
ABOUT TO HAPPEN: DR. MARA SAEL's voice will crackle onto the PA, calm and proprietary — she knows Pod 0 woke, and she is not afraid. DIRECTOR CRANE's suppression teams are already being scrambled toward the vault. The climb begins here.
